My name is Coty, and I am a New Orleans, Louisiana native raised in the Ninth Ward. I am a mama of three beautiful babies, a postpartum caregiver, a vocalist, and the owner of Herbal Alchemy Apothecary.After becoming a mother, I realized just how much support is truly needed after birth—so that a mama can rest, heal, and be fully present during this tender season.I chose to specialize in postpartum care because I am deeply passionate about offering a holistic approach to postnatal support. My services are rooted in traditional practices that honor a mother’s need for rest, nourishment, and gentle care.I provide personalized, attentive support as you transition into motherhood, ensuring you feel held, supported, and cared for—so both you and your baby can experience this sacred time in the best way possible.

My Calling to Sacred Postpartum Caregiving

My mindset is rooted in honoring the body’s natural systems by nurturing and supporting it as it does what it was created to do. I was called to birthwork after my second birthing experience six years ago, which led me to Sista Midwife’s Doula Program, where I completed my training in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a picture of my youngest womb fruit resting in bed with her placenta attached and dressed in a blend of herbs I picked for it. We hired a Doula for this pregnancy and it opened space for me to fully enjoy my baby and create sweet moments like this in the comfort of my home.
